Exclamation The 2010 Photo Contest winners are...
The seven finalists in the year's Media Directory Cover Photo Contest are listed below alphabetically by the name of the photographer. They were chosen by a group of judges from nearly 50 entries submitted from across the state. This is an APA Forums exclusive announcement.

From the seven finalists appearing here, four will appear on the cover of the 2010 Arkansas Media Directory and will fetch cash prizes: the first place photo, the second place photo and two entries that tied for third place. The "Final Four" will be announced just prior to the distribution of the Directory in early January.

The first finalist is:


"Single Buttefly" by Emily Alexander of the Nashville Leader

Default Announcement of the "Final Four"
The 2010 Arkansas Media Directory was received Friday, and the APA staff has begun distribution after a snow-induced delay. Most newspapers should have their copies in the next day or two. The first-, second- and third-place winners in the 2010 Directory Cover Photo Contest have been mailed their checks and letters of congratulation. So, now it is time to announce the top four vote getters (as there was a tie for third place) in this year's competition.
