Postive Media Story! Good News for NIE!

Here is a podcast of an NPR story in a show called, "On the Media" Some really positive news, actually. One of the points made is that newspapers have more "consumers" of their news than ever before (when you combine online and print numbers).

I can't help but think that years of newspaper in education programs have established news consumption as a regular habit in our young adults. In fact, NAA's studies show that students who were exposed to a quality NIE program in school, continues the habit of reading news as adults.
