Default New Poll: InDesign or Quark?

I though it might be helpful to get a feel for what most newspapers in Arkansas are using: InDesign, Quark, PageMaker or something else. Please help us get some figures by participating in this poll.

Our paper switched from PageMaker to InDesign several years ago.

I have never used Quark.

When we paginated several years ago we started with InDesign and have been very happy with it. I've never used Quark.

We switched to InDesign in July, and it was a very difficult transition because the InCopy word processor that came with CS didn't work properly with NewsEdit essentially reduced to a browser. But we dropped InCopy and went with a later version of NewsEdit Pro IQ, and we're doing much better. Having worked in PageMaker, Quark and InDesign, I can tell you that Quark (at least the older versions) is the easiest to learn, to teach to a new staff member and to operate. InDesign will do much more, but that also makes it much more complicated for basic newspaper page building.
