Default High-Visibility Vests

As of Nov. 24, 2008, workers on the highway, including reporters and photographers covering incidents and accidents on the highways, will be required to wear high-visibility vests. The new regulation comes from the Federal Highway Administration. The vests will be available from APA. They are on order and should begin arriving by mid-September, well ahead of the deadline.

To pre-order your vests, email the number you require and sizes (medium through 4XL) to tom@arkansaspress.org. The vests will be $20 including taxes and shipping to your site, and "PRESS" will be silk screened on the back of the vests.
