Default National FOIA Affiliation

The Arkansas Freedom of Information (FOI) Coalition voted unanimously at its meeting Friday, Sept. 26, to affiliate with the National Freedom of Information Coalition (NFOIC) represented at this meeting by Executive Director Charles Davis. A total of 18 Coalition members and guests attended the meeting at the APA building in Little Rock.
The first year dues of $250 was paid for by Professor Rick Peltz of the Bowen School of Law in Little Rock from the proceeds from the sale of the book "The Arkansas Freedom of Information Act" which he co-authored with Professor John Watkins.
National affiliation will allow the Arkansas Coalition access to the NFOIC resources, including potential grants for projects related to FOIA issues.
