Default Free Serialized Stories and Arkansas History Materials for Back to School

[size="4"]Don't forget about the Cherokee Stories on the Arkansas Newspaper Foundation website that are free to use for your newspaper. They can be found here: http://www.arkansaspress.org/seriali...erokee-stories.

Also, be sure to take a look at the Virtual tour of the Arkansas Governor's Mansion and the free Educational Materials. Many are NIE related. In addition, teachers can use your newspaper and these lessons as they teach classes about Arkansas History. The link is here: http://www.arkansaspress.org/about-a...onal-resources. Use crayola.com to create a newspaper about the virtual trip to the Governor's Mansion! Need more Arkansas History? Look here - http://www.arkansaspress.org/about-a...onal-resources. On our Newspaper in Education site, there are lots of free resources for your teachers (http://www.arkansaspress.org/resources-for-teachers). Start your year off by looking over some of the resources and connecting your website to this site. Link, link, link! The work is done for you!

The NAA Foundation currently offers two free serial stories: The Brass Bell (expires Nov. 30) and Robin Reports (no expiration). You can access them at this link: http://www.naafoundation.org/Curriculum/NIE.aspx.
