Surf’s up. For those interested in attending the annual Arkansas Press Association Advertising Conference or the Awards Banquet for the 2008 Better Newspaper Advertising Contest, time is running out. The deadline for getting a special room rate has already come and gone, and now there are only seven business days before the registration deadline tolls.

The deadline to sign up is March 10, and the Advertising Conference will be held March 13-14 at the Wyndham River-front Hilton in North Little Rock.

To date more than 100 have made plans to participate in this year’s conference, including the following persons (listed alphabetically by location), representing Arkansas’ newspapers:

As of 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 10, APA has received 12 more registrations...today, bringing the total number of attendees to 72 for this week's Advertising Conference. The new participants have been added to the master list above.

The sign-up period is now closed for the 2008 Advertising Conference, and no more registrations will be accepted. Before the deadline four more were received bringing the total (and final) number of participants for the conference to 99. See above for the full list.
