The long-awaited APA SuperConvention kicks off this week (July 8-11) at the Embassy Suites and adjacent Hammons Convention Center in Rogers. The event gets underway Wednesday and continues through Saturday lunch. Over 280 are registered for the annual gathering. The golfers tee it up Wednesday morning and the early birds will tour and attend a reception at Reynolds Razorback Stadium at the University of Arkansas Wednesday evening. Almost 100 are signed up to attend the NW Arkansas Naturals baseball game Thursday evening, and the largest crowd in several years has signed up to attend the Saturday editorial awards luncheon. For those coming, we'll see you in Rogers! For those who can't, mark your calendars for June 23-26, 2010 for the next convention, a renewal of the Tri-State Convention to be held in Tunica, Miss.
